Make me to understand the way of thy precepts: so that I may talk of thy wondrous works.
Psalm 119:27
Whenever the Bible says talk I pay special attention because I would rather listen than talk. In my Bible there was a superscript "a" next to the word talk in this verse. I looked in my margin and saw the word correlating with talk was meditate. In my mind those two words don't have the same meaning. I looked the verse up in my concordance app and found the Hebrew word used is siyach. Stong's definition for that word is contemplation, musing, prayer. I can accept this as including both meditation and talking.
The purpose of this blog as I see it is for me to observe, contemplate, and come to a deeper understanding of what God is doing in and around me. But that isn't enough. God isn't teaching me these things for my benefit only. I need to share, communicate, talk of his wondrous works.
Welcome to my blog. There probably won't be any theological discussion or debates here, just my experiences through the adventures I say yes to. Enjoy and I encourage you to talk of the wondrous works you see God doing in your life.
